The United States Air Force apologized Thursday for claiming it would lend its support to Operation Christmas Child, after a cadet alerted The Military Religious Freedom Foundation of the endorsement. The Operation Christmas Child program is set up with a vision to donate gifts to poor children from all over the world, and it plans to send more than 8 million presents to youngsters from 100 different countries.

The Air Force Academy first pledged its support for the organization, but after receiving a complaint by Academy personnel and Muslim-American parents, have retracted their endorsement.The Military Religious Freedom Foundation have said the U.S. Air Force should not promote Christianity or any other faith in particular, and Mikey Weinstein, a representative for the foundation, said he came to know about the situation when a cadet emailed him and complained that Christianity was promoted by the military.

Brig. Gen. Richard Clark, from the Academy’s commandant of cadets, said apologizing for the endorsement was a “victory for the Constitution” and “Lady Liberty is smiling tonight.”

The story has caused outrage from Christian circles, with Rep. Randy Forbes stating in front of Fox News: “This is beyond political correctness. This is an anti-faith mode that we see over and over again coming from this administration and the people serving in it.”

I mean, COME ON!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? This isn't about Christianity, it's about HELPING STARVING CHILDREN! What the heck is WRONG with us?!! Our government, no, not just our government, our COUNTRY, our PEOPLE, our SOLDIERS are so BLINDED by a twisted since of religious freedom that they will back out of a program to help poor Children, because they think it endorses Christianity too exclusively. Forget the fact that our country is FOUNDED ON CHRISTIAN IDEALS.
We're so Two-faced!!! Religious Tolerance my backside. Obviously, it's alright for anyone to practice and defend their faith, as long as that "anyone" isn't a Christian. Muslims can slaughter Jews, kill Christians, highjack our planes and crash them into our buildings all they want. I mean, after all, they're just being Muslims. ( Okay, so maybe we did go to war over that one...) But let a Christian get defensive because Muslims publicly HATE Christianity, let a Christian peacefully speak out against homosexuality, and the murder of unborn children, and it's "Whoa, now buddy, you're being a ranting bigot and a hater. Let's show some tolerance, now..."

Okay. Now I'M starting to rant. But I hope this gets your dander up as much as it does mine.

And MAN, does it get my dander up. Almost as much as Mississippi's Personhood Amendment getting rejected. Which, by the way, I think is a DISGRACE to our Country. a DISGRACE. We ought to be ashamed. And outraged.

Folks, our Country needs God. Not just our President, our COUNTRY.

WE NEED GOD.

I hope God will put us on our knees and show us who's Boss.
