16

Well, I turned sixteen yesterday. Doesn't feel all that different, except that it's easier to feel older than Terrence, (needless to say I have done a LOT of rubbing it in) though I always have been. My spring break was WONDERFUL. For the first half of the week the weather was amazing, and I spent some time working with wood and just being outside. Something I really don't do enough of and really should. Dad, Davis, Granny and I went on a walk. The original plan was to go down to the river, but then we decided to go to Shelby Farms. But on the way, we again changed our minds and ended up going to Wolf River.. walk?.. in German Town - somewhere we have never been. It was a lot of fun. School started in and I was NOT ready for it. I fell asleep in biology on the first day.
Our next speech (in Speech Class) is going to be on Childhood Obesity. We're all doing the same speech and whoever is deemed the most persuasive by our audience will get some kind of reward. Probably a grade bonus of some sort. I'm excited. I hadn't written any thing until Tuesday, and wasn't really sure how I wanted to write it, but we had to write something, so I did. And it just came. I love it when that happens. I usually have a hard time just writing about something on the spot, especially a persuasive speech with a lot of information. But I ended up getting a surprising mount done. Maybe when it's finished I'll put it on the blog. I miss my friends and can't wait to see a double handful of them at my birthday party, for which I can hardly wait.
