On the other hand, having a clean mind gives me a clear head. When the window is open, it feels like spring, even when it's not. Doing homework upstairs is an enjoyable activity (especially with the window open. I do love having to window open...) and there is plenty of clear space on the floor to get out the many large lego boxes and build a spaceship and docking station, or a giant robot, or a little village, or a whole expedition with boats and cars and helicopters ta boot. :::sigh:: It's so nice.
Now of course, one might say, "Now Harris, a genetic tendency can be overcome. It doesn't govern your character". You see, I happen to have just studied genetics in Biology class (it was quite fascinating) and I've already thought of that. And indeed, we have by no means NOT tried to Overcome, and our room is by no means NEVER CLEAN. I stress never. A lot. Needless to say, our room is very rarely "company ready", as we like to say, unless it actually does need to be ready for company. After a thorough room cleaning, the feeling of room and cleanliness and cluterlessness is so wonderful, that it inspires us with a very powerful inspiration to KEEP THE ROOM CLEAN. Roy and I have very large Inspiration Tanks. HUGE. They just also have numerous holes in them.
Thus, within a few weeks, the inspiration drains, the and room returns to chaos and disorder.
Alas and Alack.

i think it must be genetic, 'cause i have it too.
but my inspiration tank is huge, also, and i've resolved to try to keep my room always company ready...at least this last semester of highschool.
I wish you luck.
